Hollywood could be beckoning for a new star after an M&S plastic milk carton was plucked (well picked actually) from obscurity and thrust into the limelight, to star in a new video aimed at encouraging recycling.
With consumer figures showing that almost 9 out of 10 have faith that the household plastics they recycle are made into something new, the recycling industry has teamed up with M&S to make a video promoting plastic recycling.
In fact only 45% of plastic bottles in the UK are actually collected for recycling so whilst experts admit there’s still a long way to go in encouraging households and collection centres alike, the signs are good.
Lets hope the sequel isn’t ‘canned’…. ahem.
